As the founder, art director, and publication designer of Sidepiece magazine, I was responsible for shaping the visual identity and overall aesthetic of the publication. From the initial concept to the final print-ready files, I oversaw every aspect of the magazine's design and production.
As the art director, I collaborated closely with photographers, designers, writers, and editors to ensure that the visual elements of the magazine complemented and enhanced the written content. I sourced custom illustrations and imagery, and crafted layouts that captured the unique voice and vision of Sidepiece.
Along with my talented design staff, I also designed a handful of spreads. I managed the production schedule, worked with printers to ensure high-quality output, and ensured that each issue met our standards for excellence in design and content.
